Lip Blush
By Montana Inez
low maintenance, blushed lips
all year βround
The most natural technique in lip tattooing β Lip Blush is a soft and natural tint with no harshness, bringing a flush of colour and definition to lips, with seriously low maintenance.
This treatment will save you more time and be more beneficial than you may think!
LIP BLUSH can also be beneficial for people with scarring, naturally uneven lip shapes or colours, as well as hyper/hypo pigmentation or pigment loss.
A custom colour is created, based on skin tone, undertones, existing lip shade and desired outcome.
Whether you desire to never reapply lipstick, gain the cupidβs bow of your dreams or the perfect shape without needing to top up on filler or makeup, Lip Blush is the thing you didnβt you know you wanted (needed)..

-AFTER CARE
Immediately after your session:
Brighter, bolder, warmer colour/slight swelling are 100% normal and are to be expected as part of the initial stages of healing a new tattoo, particularly on the mouth. This intensity will settle within 3-5 days post session.
The vibrancy of your lip blush tattoo will fade approximately 40-50% once healed, from how you leave your appointment, revealing a soft and natural blushed shade once healed. Full healing time is 6 weeks.
The sensation can be comparable to a light sunburn. Minimal-mild flaking will take place around day 2-3.
DO NOT PICK AT YOUR LIPS! Refrain from removing the flakes as you risk of removing pigment in the process. It is highly important to keep your lips adequately hydrated during the first few days, use only the provided balm with a cotton tip or sanitised hands as regularly as needed, being careful not to over or under do it. Remember to keep yourself hydrated with plenty of water too!
Avoid smoking for 2-4 days
Avoid hot/spicy/salty foods for 48 hours post tattoo
Avoid swimming/tanning of any kind/teeth whitening/rubbing or picking/smoking/cosmetic products on unhealed lips.
Kissing people and pets should be totally avoided while healing to prevent infection and loss of colour.
-LONG TERM CARE
Keep your lips hydrated and moisturised for best results and to keep your colour looking vibrant
Avoid laser treatments near your tattoo
Skin in the centre of the lips is the thinnest with the highest cell turnover and will usually begin to lighten first due to natural exfoliation.
Lip filler can disperse the colour saturation and make the overall result appear lighter (similar to a balloon being blown up).
Touch ups/Colour boost are recommended 1-3 years after initial sessions.
SPF and sun protection are a tattoos best friend for longevity!
